The Belkin was CR&P and I will never be persuaded to buy anther router from them again, it was against my better judgment in the first place I shall stand buy my guns in future. As I said before the wifi was brilliant but it kept dropping the adsl line which makes it as about mush use as a chocolate fireguard.
I bought a Zyxel Prestige 600 its been blinding and my speeds are up as well as the adsl line   Smiley long may it reign.

My Netgear 834g has been very reliable - and has broadcast a 1 meg connection to a lappy through a couple of thick stone walls.  I won't be tempted by MIMO yet.

How do you manage to drift so far off topic...from Belkin routers to armpits? Quite the tour de force  Grin

Having to wear a tin foil hat all the time is a draw back though.

That explains things. I thought your bald head was giving off quite a burnished glow.

I have settled with a Netgear wg602 WAP attached to the router and a D-link WAP set as repeater at the other side of the house. Max coverage everywhere inside and out.

To be fair the wifi was oustanding I still got between 35-54 mbs even at 100ft down the garden and through two brick walls just could not connect to the outside world............so not much point.

G+ eh?  How can any manufacturer claim compatability with the N standard which is not even ratified yet. G+, pre-N ....lot of snake oil. Not surprised you had issues with it.

I bought one of these items two weeks ago and ever since then my adsl connection has been on and off ever since.Every day I have too reboot the router to get the connection back. I have been on to Belkin support at least 10 times to try and get this resolved and every suggestion they have made has not made an iota of difference and the router just disconnects. After a lot of surfing I found this is a common problem with this router and most people have retuned this item to the supplier and replaced it with a different brand. This router also runs very hot so hot in fact that it warms up the steel cabinet that it sits on!!!!!

Mine has now gone back to its maker............luckily not on the end of my boot.

Dont buy this router it is just fundimentaly flawed even with the latest firmware.
